Job summary

The Mental Health Center of East-Central Kansas Inc is seeking a part-time Psychosocial Group Staff to support an intensive outpatient program for at-risk youth. You will provide face-to-face group services, supervision, and skill-building in a community setting to promote educational success and reduce out-of-home placements.

Responsibilities include curriculum design, client activities, and accurate documentation, with potential for local travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in health and human services preferred.
• Ability to work with persons with serious emotional disturbance; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychosocial group services to child clients, up to 18, to develop social and behavioral skills.
• Monitor clients in the program for behavior and safety with close guidance.
• Facilitate daily activities and trips for participants.
• Transport clients within the assigned county as needed.
• Design, prepare, and lead curriculum for developmental skills.
• Maintain accurate records of client services per licensing and agency standards.
