The Guidance Center Inc in Kansas is seeking a Youth Psychosocial Program Group Leader Assistant/Attendant Care Worker to join our CBS program team. This role provides attendant care, supports group activities, and helps clients engage in pro-social activities after school with evening shifts.

We value a compassionate, organized approach; six months of community experience is preferred and mental health experience is a plus. Benefits include health coverage and PTO.

Competenze

• One year of college coursework in human services or one year of experience in the field.
• Six months' community-based experience required; practicum or volunteering acceptable.
• Preferred: experience working with individuals with mental health issues.

Mansioni

• Provide attendant care services to promote daily activity completion and group interactions.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate groups as assigned.
• Support engagement in pro-social and CBS activities.
• Encourage problem-solving and positive interactions among individuals served.
• Collaborate with parents/caregivers while maintaining boundaries.
• Transport individuals to activities or appointments and assist with van routes.
• Understand and meet direct service requirements and efficiency goals.
• Document notes and reports in line with quality standards and funding rules.
• Organize work to meet direct service expectations and center requirements.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with professionalism.
