The role requires 1–2 years inpatient RN experience, Illinois RN licensure, and current BLS/CPR with ACLS within 6 months. Strong communication and EHR skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of inpatient RN experience required. NEW GRADUATE NURSES will not be considered.
• Eligibility for licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (Illinois). Out of state licenses not accepted.
• Current BLS/CPR and required unit certifications.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire for main hospital.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and updates the patient's plan of care based on ongoing assessment and input from the family.
• Collaborates with the health care team to promote effective patient care.
• Verifies orders and documents interventions in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Engages with patients/families to educate and address changing needs.
• Advocates for patients, families, and the nursing profession.
