Hampton Behavioral Health Center in Westampton, NJ, is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for the evening shift. This Per Diem leadership role requires strong nursing leadership, rapid decision-making, and the ability to oversee nursing staff and other departments to ensure quality patient care.

You will coordinate staffing, supervise units, participate in survey readiness, and support Admissions and HR processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN or health-related BS required.
• Current RN licensure in New Jersey and BLS certification required.
• ANCC certification in mental health/psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Minimum two years of psychiatric treatment experience; at least one year in a nursing supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Determine optimal staff allocation for the shift and units.
• Coordinate care of patients on assigned shift and communicate concerns.
• Serve as administrative authority for smooth unit operation during shift.
• Notify administrator of urgent concerns; coordinate with HR on employee issues.
• Provide clinical expertise in medical and psychiatric emergencies.
• Assist Admissions when necessary and support survey readiness.
