State of North Carolina - Health & Human Services seeks a Youth Program/Education Assistant II at Whitaker PRTF in Butner to provide psychiatric-mental health nursing care for 18 residents. The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating care in coordination with clinical staff.

Must obtain certifications (NVCI/APT, CPR, Fire Safety) and work the evening shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm). A sign-on bonus may be offered and the compensation reflects NC state pay scales.

Qualifications

• Ability to establish good working relationships with paraprofessionals, professionals, residents, and parents.
• Knowledge of task analysis and goal setting with BED/BEH residents.
• Working knowledge of problems and needs of severely emotional and assaultive youth.
• Ability to work with clinical staff in assessing child behavior and planning and implementing treatment plans.

Responsabilités

• Provide psychiatric-mental health nursing care for residents and participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Collaborate with treatment team to support 18 residents at Whitaker PRTF.
