Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title) or six months of experience in care, activities and personal guidance of individuals with mental health or physical illness or disabilities.
• Certification as a Nurse Aide or Nursing Assistant through the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
• You must meet the PA residency requirement and be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual care and support daily living activities.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, ambulation, and escorting to activities and appointments.
• Provide basic first aid and assist during emergencies using approved procedures.
• Supervise and support individuals during leisure activities and nursing programs.
• Maintain living spaces: assist with keeping living areas clean, organized, and safe.
