The role emphasizes accuracy, ownership, and contributing to continuous improvement. You will collaborate with engineers and production teams to report test results, refine procedures, and help maintain test facilities.

Qualifications

• Performs variety of electronic and electromechanical tests on electronic systems, subassemblies, and parts to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure.
• Reads test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.
• Operates custom thermal dynamic test equipment and computer-based test systems.
• Champions positive attitude and leads the team in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assists in test scheduling and planning as requested.

Responsibilities

• Loads products onto precision test fixtures and secures electrical connections.
• Controls test execution through custom computer applications.
• Provides reporting on test status and complications and supports recording of results.
• Supports development of new test methods and maintenance/improvement of test facilities.
• Collaborates with engineers and production personnel to resolve testing issues.
