Job summary

Toyota Boshoku Western KY is seeking a Production Control Team Member for the 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) at our Hopkinsville, KY facility. This hourly role oversees shipping and receiving, inventory control, and daily production support, directing team members to meet quality, safety, and efficiency targets.

You will monitor parts flow, kanban levels, and KPI targets, lead continuous improvement projects, ensure 5S and TPS adherence, and collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum one (1) year of production control or logistics experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge and experience with TPS and Production Efficiency (PEFF) system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping and receiving warehouse operations during the shift.
• Direct Team Members in assigned manufacturing area.
• Manage group to accomplish company goals and targets with safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Monitor flow of parts, inventory levels, and kanbans; take corrective action when needed.
• Lead continuous improvement activities and KPI target setting.
• Ensure safety and PPE compliance and 5S/TPS in the work area.
• Communicate with GL on issues and collaborate with multiple departments.
