Job summary

Nutrition 101 LLC, a niche provider of eco-friendly liquid waste handling solutions, seeks a Processing Shift Supervisor to oversee the 2nd shift at Archdale facility. You will manage workflow, ensure compliance with cGMP and safety plans, and serve as the primary contact for shift performance.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with shift leads, reviewing production records, training crew, and maintaining equipment, documentation, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6–12 months experience as a Lead or advanced Operator in manufacturing/processing.
• Certification or ability to obtain forklift, yard truck, and safe equipment operation.
• Strong knowledge of extruders, balers, conveyors, pumps, washers, and refrigeration.
• Ability to read schedules, prioritize tasks, and adjust workflow for demand.
• Understanding of food/feed safety, sanitation and quality expectations.
• Experience in production records, shift reports, and compliance docs.
• Demonstrated leadership: coaching, training, accountability, conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Understand and communicate the company vision, mission, and values.
• Adhere to policies and procedures per Employee and Safety Manuals.
• Supervise the shift and coordinate with maintenance when needed.
• Certify and operate extruder, baler, conveyor, pumps, and other equipment.
• Train crew on latest procedures and confirm understanding.
• Complete daily supervisor and cleaning checklists.
• Review loads, scheduling priorities, and ensure accurate paperwork.
• Lead shift meetings and document activity across shifts.
