Job summary

BCforward is seeking a 2nd shift Process Technician in Cypress, CA to join a dynamic team on a contract basis for about 11 months. The role focuses on maintaining safe, reliable equipment, following production plans, and meeting customer requirements during the second shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with occasional weekends or other shifts as needed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and experience in preventive maintenance within industrial or manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and follow safety procedures.
• Flexibility to work second or third shift and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Follow production plans to meet customer requirements and quality standards.
• Work individually and collaboratively to complete tasks and resolve issues.
• Support conflict resolution within the team to maintain professionalism.
• Participate in cost improvement initiatives to satisfy customer needs.
• Provide service support on a 24-hour basis as needed, including weekends.
• Stand for extended periods while performing production and maintenance tasks.
