Job summary

ASM in Phoenix seeks a Process Development Engineer to execute DOE and device development activities during the 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift. You will work with process engineers, operators, and technicians to drive experiments, analyze results, and ensure adherence to development plans in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on lab execution, and data-driven problem solving to support DOE, tool qualifications, and hardware evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience interpreting experimental plans and data.
• Knowledge of statistics and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Execute Design of Experiments (DOE) and process qualifications for development programs.
• Lead the 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift and coordinate with operators/technicians.
• Review objectives, wafer splits, recipes, and process conditions for accurate execution.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to resolve issues impacting schedules.
• Provide shift handoffs and document experimental observations.
