Job summary

Intel in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an OTF Module Engineer to own one or more 300mm toolsets, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and excursion-free operation. You will drive tool performance, implement improvements, and support new technology starts to meet factory goals.

Responsibilities include creating roadmaps, establishing module flow, selecting materials and equipment, and training engineers for transfer. A day or night shift may be required as an OSE to meet toolset needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or related engineering STEM field OR
• Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in the same fields OR
• PhD with 6+ months of experience in engineering STEM fields OR
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Define roadmaps to meet requirements, goals and milestones for a new technology process.
• Establish flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for the module.
• Select materials and equipment to meet quality, yield, reliability, cost, and manufacturability needs.
• Plan and conduct experiments to characterize the process throughout development.
• Drive improvements in quality, yield, reliability, and safety; contribute to process development.
• Develop solutions using formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.
• Establish process control systems and sustain the module through volume ramp.
• Train engineers for transfer to other factories and support new factory start-ups.
