Job summary

Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna is seeking an Evening Server to join our dining team. You will provide prompt, friendly service, help residents with meal choices, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment.

You will greet residents, take orders, deliver meals, assist with beverages, and work with the team to ensure smooth mealtime experiences. Previous dining or senior-living experience is a plus, and you must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents warmly and provide attentive meal service.
• Present menu choices and assist with selections.
• Take orders accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Deliver meals promptly and courteously.
• Serve beverages and assist with dining requests.
• Maintain clean, organized dining areas.
• Clean tables and dining-room spaces before, during, and after service.
• Stock products and supplies to par levels.
• Complete daily dining-service checklists.
• Assist with cleaning the bistro and other food-service areas.
• Follow infection-control and food-safety standards.
• Assist with deep cleaning of equipment as scheduled.
• Clean dining-service equipment, including the ice cream machine.
• Work with culinary and community team members to keep service smooth.
• Respond to resident questions/requests timely.
• Assist with additional dining-service responsibilities as assigned.
