Job summary

Deluxe Corporation is seeking a Press Operator to run sheet fed, digital presses and bindery equipment to manufacture, package, and ship quality products. You will follow standard operating procedures and work in a team to achieve daily production goals.

The role requires setup, ink and water balance, color matching, and routine troubleshooting. Compensation is hourly with potential commissions or performance incentives, and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• HS/GED with 1 year printing experience with similar equipment.
• Familiar with product, equipment, printing process, and ink usage.
• Mechanical ability to operate and maintain press.
• Basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet fed, digital presses, bindery equipment and other processing equipment, and shipping/packing to produce quality orders.
• Set up press: load stock, set paper path, adjust ink and water levels, mount plates, ensure single-color register, and configure attributes (perforations, numbering, etc.).
• Interpret order instructions and run press to meet ink density, color balance, and quality targets.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and perform adjustments such as blanket changes and wash-up as needed.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance and ensure press controls are understood and used.
• Follow SOPs and work in a team to hit daily goals.
