Job summary

Chick-fil-A Viewmont in Hickory, NC seeks an evening/night Prep Team Member to support the kitchen with fresh ingredient prep, following safety standards and maintaining prep areas. You will assemble prep items, label and rotate stock, and assist with deliveries while collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely, quality meals for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to stand for extended shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients according to company recipes and food safety standards
• Assemble prep items (i.e., salads, wraps, parfaits, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations and cold storage areas
• Label, date, and rotate food to ensure freshness and prevent waste
• Assist in unloading and storing deliveries as needed
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure ingredient availability and proper stock levels
• Follow all Chick-fil-A food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures
• Uphold Chick-fil-A’s high standards of hospitality and excellence, even in non-customer-facing roles
