Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a food service worker to perform a wide range of food preparation and service duties. You will assist cooks with meal prep, plate foods, and deliver orders with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.

Onsite at 75 Francis Street, the role requires customer service excellence, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to lift and move supplies. Evening shift coverage with every other weekend is included.

Qualifications

• Some High School Completed required
• Experience in lieu of degree accepted

Responsibilities

• Aid cooks in preparing meals and plating food as requested by the chef or other supervising employee.
• Greet and take customer orders, remember special requests, and deliver food in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service with a positive demeanor when dealing with restaurant patrons, fielding all complaints promptly, answering questions, and making meal suggestions when asked.
• Adhere to food safety standards at all times, making sure that all food is free of contaminants and pathogens that might make customers sick.
