Tatte Bakery & Café in Boston, MA is hiring PM Prep Cooks to join our Savory team. You will prep ingredients, label and stock items, and support kitchen leadership to execute dishes per Tatte recipes and standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and a commitment to hospitality in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have at least 1 year of kitchen experience, be able to lift 50+ lbs, and adapt to varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Demonstrated commitment to cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Follow prep lists created by chefs and kitchen leadership.
• Label and stock all cooking ingredients.
• Complete all prep tasks in an organized and timely manner.
• Wash, chop, measure, and prepare ingredients including fruits, vegetables, and meats.
• Ensure all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards at all times.
• Monitor food and cooling room temperatures.
• Support inventory tracking and communicate restocking needs to kitchen leadership.
• Learn and execute cooking methods and techniques used within the kitchen.
• Assist chefs with food preparation and additional culinary tasks as needed.
• Other related assignments as necessary
