Job summary

Hörmann LLC in Sparta, TN is seeking a 2nd shift Machine Operator II to set up and run presses, un-coilers, and roll-formers, producing garage door components with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

The role requires reading prints, operating cranes and forklifts (certified), and maintaining 6S in a team-focused environment. Starting pay is competitive with a $1 shift differential; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read prints/drawings and measure parts to specs.
• Experience with basic mechanical tools and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run presses, un-coilers, roll-formers and related equipment.
• Maintain quality and storage of garage door parts and components.
• Prepare rejected material for return to vendors and keep area clean.
• Operate machinery safely and follow 6S standards at all times.
• Read and interpret work instructions and maintain production pace.
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
