Qualifications

• Ohio license as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner or CNS with prescriptive authority.
• Maintain a Standard Care Arrangement with an identified Coleman Psychiatrist in accordance with the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Must have an NPI number, be enrolled as a provider to bill Ohio Medicaid, and have a CAQH account created.

Responsibilities

• Screen, diagnose, treat, and manage psychiatric care with EHR documentation.
• Administer psychiatric treatment, including prescriptions and medication reviews.
• Assess hospitalization need and initiate treatment plans.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists and providers for continuity of care.
• Provide education on medication management to individuals and families.
