Job summary

Coleman Health Services in Canton, Ohio is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist with prescriptive authority to join our behavioral health team. You will apply medical knowledge to screen, diagnose, treat, and manage clients, coordinate with psychiatrists, and educate families on medication management.

The role requires an Ohio license, an NPI, CAQH enrollment, and the ability to participate in crisis intervention and se inclusion.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Ohio license as a PMHNP or CNS with prescriptive authority.
• Must have an NPI number, be enrolled as a provider to bill Ohio Medicaid, and have a CAQH account.

Responsibilities

• Screen, diagnose, treat, and manage mental health care with EHR data entry.
• Administer psychiatric treatments, including prescriptions and reviews.
• Assess hospitalization need and establish initial treatment plans.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other providers for continuity of care.
• Respond to behavioral and psychiatric emergencies with crisis intervention when needed.
