Job summary

Batesville's Manchester Assembly Plant is seeking a Second Shift Superintendent to oversee manufacturing activities for the shift and ensure safety, quality, and on-time production. You will lead a team of supervisors and 5–8 sub group leaders, implement lean manufacturing principles, monitor performance, and develop talent to meet company goals.

Travel up to 25% may be required. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or eight years of similar manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on safety and quality.
• Experience applying lean manufacturing principles to solve production problems.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the manufacturing activities of the Second Shift.
• Ensures safety, quality, and on-time production to meet schedules.
• Leads 5–8 group leaders and develops organizational capability.
• Manages staffing, interviews, hires, trains, and evaluates staff; enforces work rules.
• Develops standard work instructions and process controls; drives continuous improvement.
