Job summary

Meadow Gold is seeking a Plant Maintenance Mechanic to care for and maintain production assets, ensuring continuous operation of machinery in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You will perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production and utility equipment, with a 1:00pm–9:00pm schedule.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment installation support, and documentation of work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred and clean pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks.
• One year of experience in a maintenance role within a food or beverage manufacturing facility is required.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and/or repairs (planned, unplanned, emergency) on production, processing, and packaging equipment as well as utility related equipment or systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections of equipment for reliability and performance.
• Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
