Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Formal phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited phlebotomy program with clinical rotation/externship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection procedures and venipuncture.
• Verify order requests and patient information prior to drawing.
• Label specimens and deliver to the processing area.
• Process specimens and complete related lab tasks.
• Operate across multiple locations as needed.
• Maintain log sheets and follow safety protocols.
