Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED.
• Experience<2 years in laboratory setting preferred.
• Associate's Degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician orders and order tests in appropriate system.
• Perform phlebotomy with proper patient identification and interactions.
• Sort and process specimens and ensure specimen integrity.
• Coordinate multiple tasks including STAT orders and workload fluctuations.
• May perform registration, inventory maintenance, and other duties.
