Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to join the Clinical Laboratory team on the Evening Shift. The role focuses on obtaining blood specimens, processing samples, and ensuring accurate documentation for diagnosis and treatment.

The position requires CA-employed licensure or certification as a Phlebotomy Technician, with risk management and quality assurance responsibilities.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required in CA; preferred in OR and HI.
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Obtains blood specimens by venipuncture and finger sticks.
• Verifies specimen identification and appropriateness of sample type/volume for testing.
• Processes samples using aseptic technique and prepares paperwork for testing.
• Communicates with other departments and physicians to facilitate lab work.
• Monitors and maintains equipment per regulations and guidelines.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
