Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws following safety protocols.
• Label specimens accurately and ensure proper specimen transport.
• Communicate with patients to ease anxiety and explain procedures.
• Maintain infection control practices and proper patient identification.
• Prioritize workload and assist team to maintain productivity.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and quality controls.
• Respond to lab calls and relay pertinent data to caregivers.
