Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinical rotations or phlebotomy experience.
Certification from a nationally recognized agency in Phlebotomy or Medical Laboratory sciences.
Clinical laboratory experience as a phlebotomist or related role within a clinical lab.

Responsibilities

Lead the Phlebotomy laboratory department and oversee staff.
Provide training, competency assessment, and scheduling for phlebotomy personnel.
Ensure smooth operations and adherence to lab safety and quality standards.
Attend to specimen collection needs, including venipuncture and related collection instructions as required.
