Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist at Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The role supports blood collection, specimen handling, and patient service in a busy laboratory setting.

Evening shift 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with every other weekend and rotating holidays. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months' experience preferred; certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months’ experience for Network Float Pool preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, prioritizes, and obtains blood draw requests.
• Operates hospital tube system to receive specimens and distribute them for collection.
• Receives outpatient specimens and verifies patient identification.
• Maintains Lab Information System entries for tests and patient data.
• Greets visitors and handles reception duties.
• Operates phones, pagers, and faxes and directs inquiries.
