AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital team. The role covers dispensing, sterile compounding, hazardous drug handling, and inventory management across multiple pharmacy operations.

Eligible candidates receive a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Schedule: Monday–Friday with evenings and every other weekend; location at 601 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL 32803. Prior hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Independently prepares and dispenses patient-specific medication doses.
• Independently compounds and manages complex and sterile medication preparations, including chemotherapy and hazardous formulations.
• Provides coverage in advanced pharmacy practice areas such as hazardous cleanroom, CII safety management, medication history, decentralized clinical support, environmental monitoring, and inventory management.
• Manages accurate medication inventory operations including ordering, stocking, receiving, and perpetual counts.
• Ensures proper medication storage and cold chain custody.
• Leads hazardous medication handling practices and environmental safety audits.
• Supports formulary management and inventory optimization strategies.
• Collaborates with pharmacy staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Mentors technicians and supports onboarding and training.
• Executes advanced pharmacy technician duties across core workflows and hospital systems.
• Demonstrates proficiency in dispensing, preparation, and regulatory compliance.
• Leads or participates in quality improvement projects.
