Job summary

Pharmacy Solutions Group (PSG) seeks an Order Entry Technician for the evening shift in Broadview Heights, OH. Under supervision, you will input orders, update resident data, and ensure accurate medication dispensing while providing courteous facility support.

The role requires an Ohio-registered/certified technician with strong attention to detail and solid communication abilities; LTC experience is a plus. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered or certified Pharmacy Technician in the state of Ohio.
• Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields is preferred.
• LTC pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with thorough organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and input new/readmitted residents to ensure accurate dispensing of medications.
• Maintain resident information in the pharmacy computer system; update as needed.
• Use proper phone etiquette to provide facility/resident services.
• Triage patient calls and direct to appropriate staff.
• Enter new and refill orders for Staff Pharmacist review in the system.
• Maintain customer information and correct data in the system as required.
• Place outbound calls to facilities to clarify orders when needed.
• Triage incoming faxes promptly and accurately.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with billing operations specialists.
