Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead operations, counsel patients, immunize, and ensure safe dispensing at our retail locations in the United States. You will support the Pharmacy Manager and guide the pharmacy team during shifts.

This full‑time role requires an active Pharmacist license, an active NPI, and compliance with state laws. You will collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy operations with patient‑focused care and ensure safe dispensing.
• Coach staff, oversee bench shifts, and report to the Pharmacy Manager.
• Support immunization services and counseling to improve patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Manage inventory, optimize workflow, and protect cold chain products.
• Attend required trainings and CMEs to maintain clinical skills.
