Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our retail team. You will lead pharmacy operations, counsel patients, and immunize where permissible while supporting the Pharmacy Manager and ensuring safe, compliant care.

This full-time role requires an active state pharmacist license, an active NPI, and the ability to supervise and coach staff during shifts. Expect a focus on accurate dispensing and proactive patient engagement.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and accurate prescription dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices.
• Supervise and support the Pharmacy Manager during shifts and coach the team.
• Manage prescription fulfillment and pharmacy workflow procedures with safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS Health policies.
• Support patient experiences by compassionate, patient-centered care and resolving insurance issues.
• Assist in inventory management with emphasis on cold chain products and staff coaching.
