Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Licensed as a Pharmacist in Ohio
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
• Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group
• Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving
• Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient with computers

Responsibilities

• Participate in preparation of prescriptions via a highly automated system
• Verify for completeness and accuracy all new and refill labels and orders
• Verify drug packaging and labeling for content and accuracy
• Partner with fellow healthcare team members
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements within pharmacy
• Research medication issues and provide guidance to team members
• Other duties as assigned by management
