MilliporeSigma in Indianapolis, IN seeks an experienced Mechanic to overhauls, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment across the facility. You will work with the Production Supervisor to set priorities in component prep, compounding, filling, capping, packaging, and the machine shop.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years in related trades, and preference for GMP pharma experience, drawing interpretation, and CMMS exposure. Shift is 3:00pm–11:30pm.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade school certificate preferred.
• 3+ years of work experience in electrical, pipe fitting, machinist, or other trade.
• Experience interpreting drawings and schematics is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are beneficial.
• Must maintain documentation and GMP pharma familiarity is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and plant systems.
• Performs setup and installation of equipment and training for production employees on machine operation.
• Diagnoses malfunctions of production equipment and utility systems and makes necessary repairs.
• Completes work orders, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
• May be required to handle waste including hazardous waste.
• Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
