Job summary

Senior Community Care of Colorado PACE in Montrose, CO is hiring a Personal Caregiver/PCA to support local participants in home and Day Center settings.

You will provide non-skilled ADL assistance, light restorative care, and help with IADLs while traveling to participant homes. A High School diploma and at least 1 year of eldercare experience are required; CPR/First Aid and a valid driver's license are also needed. Schedule is Mon-Fri 1:00pm-9:30pm, with occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year experience with frail or elderly population.
• Active CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; 21+.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with non-skilled activities of daily living (ADLs) in the home and Day Center.
• Provide non-skilled restorative and supportive care.
• Assist with IADLs such as shopping, cleaning, meals, and routine household care.
• Assist with Day Center activities, including meal service.
• Performs other duties as required.
