Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Edina, MN seeks a Resident Assistant to support residents at Aurora on France Assisted Living. The role provides personal care and health-related services to enhance residents’ wellbeing, within an integrated senior living community connected to Ebenezer and Fairview facilities.

The position features an evening shift (2PM-10PM), a 38-hour biweekly schedule, and rotation weekends/holidays, with benefits offered. Prior experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care assistance (≤1 year).
• Ability to use computers, handheld devices, cell phones, and fax machines.
• If under 18, must be on MN NAR registry.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal cares including bathing, foot and nail care.
• Assists with meal service in dining room.
• Assists with preparing for and facilitating social and recreational activities as requested.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff.
• Notifies staff of changes in physical or emotional conditions.
• Acts as a mandated reporter for potential mistreatment.
• Responds appropriately to resident and building emergencies.
