UNC Health Hillsborough is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide competent nursing care in a hospital setting, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director and coordinating patient care using the nursing process.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM with on-call coverage from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM and backup on-call from 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM as needed. This is a state-employed position with UNC Health benefits.

Formación

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.

Responsabilidades

• Education - Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self.
• Evaluation of Care - Identifies expected patient outcomes and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Implementation - Demonstrates competence in care of patients with complex problems and organizes care.
• Leadership - Supports unit goals and communicates effectively for safe care.
• Patient Assessment - Recognizes data to determine care priorities and anticipate discharge needs.
• Planning - Prepares the plan of care with multidisciplinary resources.
• Research - Reads journals and shares ideas for practice improvement.
