Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in McDonough, GA, is seeking a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver for evening shifts. The role supports seniors at home with daily care and companionship, with a $200 sign-on bonus and a typical hourly wage of $16–$17.

You’ll work with 1:1 client ratios, set your own schedule, and access online training to earn CEUs while making a meaningful difference in clients’ lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Personal Care Aide certification in GA (Interim can assist with certification).
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and current TB screening.
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document their condition; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy like puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
