Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida, part of Universal Health Services, is hiring a PBX Operator for a full-time evening shift (2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., Friday through Tuesday).

You will manage the hospital's PBX, relay calls, and support visitors while delivering exceptional service. The role requires clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to cross-train in other areas such as Admitting or ER.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a PBX operator or similar role preferred.
• Willing to cross-train in other areas such as admitting, business office, ER.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail and organization required.
• Medical terminology knowledge.
• Filing and typing skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Process all incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls accurately.
• Operate the hospital PBX system to relay calls appropriately.
• Perform various clerical duties and assist visitors.
• Be cross-trained and float to other departments as needed.
