Trinity Health in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Part-time Nutritional Services Aide – Tray Assembly for Evening shifts (2:30pm–7:30pm), with Sundays included and occasional early hours. The role assists in meal preparation and tray assembly for patients and visitors, maintaining sanitary work areas and compliant documentation.

The position emphasizes safety, temperature control, teamwork, and flexibility to adapt to department needs, with strong emphasis on courteous service and reliability.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; previous food service experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates ability to prepare food workstations and subsequent assembly of patient trays and nourishments.
• Ensures that workstations are cleaned and sanitized during and at the conclusion of shift, following established policies and guidelines.
• Adheres to infection control and food handling procedures as outlined in department standards.
• Recognizes the importance of proper food handling temperatures; ensures that temperatures are adequate.
• Demonstrates ability to safely operate equipment related to position; reports maintenance needs and malfunctions to Coordinators.
• Recognizes the importance of good attendance and promptness and strives to minimize absences and tardiness.
• Exhibits a commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude when change is needed.
• Willingly accepts job assignments and changes in routines as necessary for efficient operation of the department.
