Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for full-time PATIENT TRANSPORTER positions at MercyOne Genesis in Davenport, IA. Training is provided, no experience required.

Responsibilities include safe, timely transport of patients and equipment, collaboration with nursing staff, and adherence to healthcare privacy and safety standards. Schedule 12:30 pm–9:00 pm; benefits available for full-time staff.

• Responsible for the safe, timely and accurate transport of patients and medical items.

Responsibilities

• Properly and safely transports patients and equipment
• Uses wheelchairs and rolling stock as needed
• Ensures safe and timely transport to destinations
• Communicates with nursing staff and dispatch
• Maintains patient comfort and privacy
• Alerts staff to distress or equipment issues
• Maintains equipment and reports repairs
• Adheres to HIPAA and regulatory standards
• Performs other duties as assigned
