Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Transporters in Dayton, Ohio. Roles are full-time and part-time with rotating weekends and holidays. No experience is required; training will be provided. Location is Crothall-provided at Miami Valley Hospital.

Positions involve safe transport of patients and equipment, with emphasis on patient comfort, communication with healthcare staff, and adherence to HIPAA and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely to their destinations using wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock.
• Secure IVs, drainage tubes, and other patient equipment as part of safe transport.
• Demonstrates competency in transporting patients across all age groups.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff, clinicians, and dispatch to coordinate transports.
• Maintain and report any equipment needing repairs; obey HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
