Compass Group USA is hiring immediately for Patient Server positions at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, IL. This on-site role offers full-time and part-time shifts with schedules including evenings and weekends.

Training is available to motivated applicants who can lift up to 100 pounds and work in a hospital food service environment. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with benefits for full-time and part-time associates.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick-up, special requests and needs, and in-between meal food delivery.
• Exhibits a friendly, caring attitude to patients when taking menu selections, delivering trays, and retrieving trays.
• Takes patients' menu selections prior to each meal and ensures dietary restrictions are followed.
• Assembles trays according to patients' menu selections and communicates with nursing staff to ensure accuracy.
• Maintains accurate patient information and adheres to HIPAA policies.
