Job summary

Banner - University Medical Center Tucson is hiring a Room Service Attendant to support patient meal service, assemble patient trays, and assist with menu requests in the Culinary & Nutrition-Hosp department in Tucson, AZ.

This part-time role offers 4pm-9pm shifts, five days per week with weekends, plus an 18% night differential after 7pm and a $1/hour weekend differential; uniforms provided. Join Banner Health to contribute to patient satisfaction and food service quality.

Qualifications

• Requires reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Experience in nutrition services or related field preferred.
• Food handlers’ card may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients to obtain or discuss menu selections for one or more patient units.
• Demonstrates judgment with modified diets and edits patient menus as required.
• Provide patient meal service including tray assembly and delivery.
• Deliver and serve meals while accommodating special requests.
• Provide excellent customer service in person or by phone and resolve complaints.
• Maintain food handling and sanitation standards to meet licensing requirements.
