Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient meal service, portioning and tray assembly.
• Transport and deliver trays to patients; collect soiled trays.
• Stock, distribute and collect patient menus and manage supply.
• Answer multi-line calls, input selections, and note dietary needs.
• Document patient selections and preferences; ensure safety and sanitation.
• Operate dish machine and maintain clean service ware and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen areas; handle waste per standards.
• Maintain department stock, rotating items and re-stocking as needed.
• Move food carts within department and to patient care areas.
• Identify waste reduction and service improvement opportunities.
