Job summary

Corewell Health is looking for a part-time Nutrition Services team member in Farmington Hills to support patient meal service. Responsibilities include answering call center phones, assembling patient trays, delivering and picking up meals, cleaning equipment, and managing stock.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains serving lines including dishes, silverware, hot and cold items.
• Assembles salads, desserts and nourishments and ensures proper storage and dating of items.
• Serves food, replenishes items, and cleans food stations after use.
• Sets up and operates the cash register and handles payments accurately.
• Counts and balances cash and deposits money as required.
• Performs routine cleaning of pots, pans, utensils and equipment.
• Loads, operates, and unloads the dishwasher and stores clean equipment.
• Cleans major kitchen equipment and transports materials safely.
• Sets up and delivers food carts to patient areas and retrieves them for cleaning.
• Assembles patient trays according to dietary requirements and delivers to patients.
• Participates in quality monitoring activities such as recording temperatures.
