Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Patient Experience Representative to support the Infusion and Day Treatment Program. This 20-hour, Monday-Friday 4:00pm-8:00pm in-person role focuses on coordinating services for patients and families while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will greet and register patients, verify demographics and insurance, coordinate daily schedules, and triage calls to ensure smooth operations and a compassionate patient experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate schedules and maintain accurate patient data.
• Strong written and verbal skills with patient-focused empathy.

Responsibilities

• Provides positive and effective customer service to patients, families, and visitors.
• Greets, screens, directs, and registers patients.
• Collaborates with providers to manage complex patient issues.
• Schedules patient encounters and coordinates flow to optimize experience.
• Collects, verifies, and records patient demographic and insurance information.
• Records and forwards messages and triages calls for urgent information.
• Provides routine clerical support as needed.
