Job summary

Avera Health is seeking a Regular, full-time Nursing Assistant at Avera McKennan Hospital in the United States. This evening-shift position covers 8-hour evenings 2-10:30pm, with every 6th weekend/holiday, totaling 76 hours per two weeks and may qualify for a $750 sign-on bonus.

You will provide routine patient care, assist with activities of daily living, document in the computer system, answer call bells, and help coordinate care with nurses and physicians in a compassionate multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CNA certification required.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures and work with patients.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, direct patient care including ambulating, bathing, feeding, and hygiene.
• Respond to call lights promptly and support staff and family as needed.
• Enter diet information into the computer system and coordinate with departments.
• Manage supplies, requisitions, and basic charting for admissions and discharges.
