Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Evanston Hospital evenings. Under RN supervision, you will deliver patient care, assist with vital signs, bladder ultrasound, Foley removal, IV adapter, specimen collection, bathing, ambulation, and hourly rounding.

You will support the patient care plan, participate in unit activities, and contribute to safety and patient experience. Eligible to work in the U.S., CNA training preferred, and BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• CNA training preferred or nursing clinical rotation
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care
• Assist with Vital Signs (BP, etc.) and 12-Lead EKG
• Assist with bladder ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal
• Perform sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding
• Assist with admissions and prepare patients for discharge, contribute to safety and patient experience
