Rock Valley, IA is seeking a Patient Care Tech to provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist the nursing team in maintaining the nursing unit in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a 75-hour Nurse Aide Training, current Iowa Nurse Aide certification within four months, and BLS certification; influenza vaccination is mandatory, with mandatory abuse reporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completion of 75-hour Nurse Aide Training within four months.
• Current Iowa Nurse Aide certification within four months.
• BLS certification required.
• Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory by December 1.
• Completion of Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course within 30 days and every 3 years.

Responsibilities
